The Dore ACE Test
I took the ACE test this morning, and the results really surprised me. I scored very low in reaction speed, boing, and parts of words. These are areas I thought I did not have any trouble with during the test, and the parts I DID have trouble with, and had JUST a tad of anxiety, were the number and sequencing recalls where I know I got some wrong, and it showed I scored strong?? But, it did mark that I am strong in kinesthetic processing and hands-on learning, which I already know. It was interesting to take. It may be a bit of a problem for youth taking it in the US, as the accent/pronunciation of the voice-over female may affect the comprehension of different words during the test if someone is not familiar with the British accent. It was a very comprehensive, fun-to-take test, and I think it would start to give some clues for some issues or deficits! I may try to have 1Kid take it to see what comes up.
