1 Kid has always scored at least 2 years below in the yearly placement tests for reading. This year for his reading placement tests he scored at his own grade level or 2 years above. Okay, that's the old news.
The new news is, we finally got his AIMS scores in today from the tests he took last April 07 (8th grade) when he was only 5 months into the Dore program. Last year, (7th grade) his reading scores fell low into category box 2 "Approaches" and for 8th grade his scores were well within category
The top result is from 8th grade, the bottom result is from 7th grade. His maths slipped a little, but they are still a very strong point, so no concern there.
