A Day off for the Evaulation

Took 1Kid out of school today for a neuro-educational-psychological evaluation. We get the results back in a couple of weeks. Before we went, I took him out for breakfast. Being on a tight income, we don't go out much, so when we do it is a treat. I have to say that 1Kid was really very pleasant with the waitress, and remembered to say please and thank-you, and actually speak to the waitress. He is usually very timid in this situation. I was really proud of 1Kid, and kept this one quietly to myself. :-) Just one more way that I am noticing him coming out of himself a little.
