Another Little Thing

1Kid seems to be coming out of himself just a bit. This is showing by a little more consideration and a little more awareness of how he and his actions affect others. One of the constant struggles revolves around getting ready for nighttime, which usually means a lot of prodding, prodding, and prodding. Last night, he came over after ready-time, still a little wound up from the holiday with his dad, defragged a little on his computer, then stated that he was going to get ready, AND take the timer so that *I* could get to bed on time! It was all really very sweet! I remain guarded, but things are changing for good, despite he's going through puberty and more naturally irritable. Yay Dore!
